Kevin Troutt, LMFTA
Life and relationships are challenging, and everybody deserves someone to help them find traction when they’re stuck. More often than not, it takes a tailored approach to find what is keeping you in that place; my goal as your therapist is to offer reflection, support, and the security to find your path forward.
I strive to create an accepting and attuned space for my clients no matter where they are in their journey.
My approach is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems Theory, and post-modern theories. I am always continuing training in the models I practice, believing that one has never “arrived” at being a helper. I also believe that the most human approach requires me to draw not only on my education and training, but on my own lived experience.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I offer work in:
Emotion Identification and Function
Life Transitions and Identity
Communication Patterns and Conflict with Partners
Sexuality, Intimacy, and Kink
Deconstructing Societal Narratives
I will readily accept clients between the ages of 15-80, and those outside this range with discretion. Come on in wherever you are in your journey, and we’ll figure it out.
In my free time you’ll find me advocating for better urbanism, connecting with friends over a meal, playing DnD, and making leather goods.
Kevin's Fee is $155 / 50 minute session
