Mettarel Associates, PS is looking for Therapists to add to our Seattle, WA practice. Mettarel is seeking therapists who are passionate about attachment theory and EFT to join us in our mission to improve the community one relationship at a time. We believe in providing quality therapy services and workshops for the general public, as well as providing professional ​training, supervision, and employment for our therapists.  We are inclusive and serve a variety of cultures and communities, striving to provide skillful therapy and quality education to a diverse socioeconomic community while providing excellent benefits and a quality of living to our team members.

Ideal Candidates

Mettarel is looking for therapists who are passionate about relationships, whether that be the relationship with the self or with others. We are seeking candidates who are trained in and/or interested in providing excellent Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or other attachment based therapy, to clients.

  • Licensed or ability to become licensed as a mental health counselor in Washington State

  • Are comfortable with or willing to learn HIPAA compliant software and working towards a paper free office environment

  • Possess awareness of Self-of-the-Therapist

  • Are emotionally intelligent, have great self-care, and model excellent boundaries

 

Compensation

 

In return, Mettarel strongly believes in supporting our therapists and encouraging their growth. To that end, at Mettarel our therapists

 

  • Are employees, not contractors

  • Are paid an hourly wage based on a client bill rate that takes into account their knowledge & education, experience, and credentials

  • Receive paid time off, sick leave, and medical benefits

  • Have the ability to take additional unpaid time off if desired

  • Have full in-house administrative support, including but not limited to scheduling, billing, marketing, HIPAA compliance, and assistance with certification applications

  • Are provided a computer, phone, and other resources 

  • Are provided extensive training opportunities

  • Have the optional opportunity to facilitate groups or workshops for clients and therapists

  • Have the optional opportunity to supervise and mentor 

Therapist Position Details

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Psychotherapy work with individuals, couples and families. 

  • Develop treatment plans and provide therapy accordingly

  • Facilitate the emergence of emotional and attachment security

  • Facilitate interpersonal emotional communication

  • Maintain client electronic files with up to date and timely notes

 

Required Education: 

  • Licensed or eligible to be licensed in Washington State in the Counseling professions 

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Certification strongly desired, or the willingness to work towards certification

 

Required Skills and Abilities: 

  • Compassionate and empathetic personality

  • Excellent and articulate communication skills

  • Strong listening skills 

  • Professional and interpersonal boundaries

  • Open-minded and able to see things from multiple perspectives

  • Social perceptiveness

  • Able to keep clear and concise notes 

  • Basic Computer skills ( Secure Email, Client Notes, etc.) 

  • Excellent self-care 

  • Willing to engage in ongoing education both as a learner and teacher

Pre-License Therapist Position Details

  • Meet with supervisor regularly to assess and discuss case load and clients

 

Required Education: 

  • Masters Degree 

  • Eligible to be licensed in Washington State as a LMFTA (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate)

 

 Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent and articulate communication skills
