Fees: 

We have a variety of therapists with a variety of education and experience.  Each therapist has their fee set by Mettarel and it can be seen on their bio page which is accessed through the staff page.

Our fee is billed by the minute and varies by provider.  Each providers page will state their fee.  As an example, a common provider fee is $200.00 per 50 minute appointment; many of our sessions are 55 or 80 minute appointments (thus prorated to $220.00 and $320.00 respectively).

Insurance: 

Many of our services are covered by insurance.  Depending on your policy and insurer you may be eligible for reimbursement for some or all of our fee.  We are considered out of network with all insurance carriers.  What this means is that you will pay for your appointment at the time of service and you will be furnished with a superbill through our online client portal (see below) which can then be submitted directly to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

Couples Therapy and Reimbursement:

The amount of insurance coverage for couples counseling varies greatly.  It is best to check directly with your insurance company.  To check your coverage you would ask if they cover couples counseling, procedure code 90847 with diagnosis Z63.0 (Problems in relationship with spouse or partner).  If you are told that the procedure needs to be medically necessary, they will not cover Z code diagnosis.  We only use medical diagnosis when we are specifically treating the diagnosis.

Steps to View and Download a Superbill from IntakeQ:

Log in to your client account (accessible here www.mettarel.com/clientlogin )

1. From the left-hand sidebar, click Invoices.

2. Locate the desired invoice.

3. Between the Status column and the Pay Invoice button, click Superbill.
   If the superbill button does not appear, please make sure the bill is paid in full and contact scheduling@mettarel.com.

4. Download the superbill.
