The most important thing we have in life is our relationships. That’s why it is painful when an important relationship leaves us feeling hurt, trapped, lost, or stuck. My mission as a counselor is to listen and understand the unique challenges you are facing in order to help you find safety and openness with your loved ones and yourself.
Sessions with me feel like going to the “Feelings Gym”. It might be hard work, but you’ll leave feeling accomplished, stronger, and more flexible. The best part is, you will have a trainer with you the whole time–that’s me. I strive to make sure my clients don’t feel alone or that the work is too difficult. I will be there to support you (and your partner) every step of the way.
My masters degree is in Mental Health Counseling. My degree gives me special training in diagnosing mental health disorders and providing career counseling. I have completed extra training to provide support for those who experience suicidal ideation, have existential concerns, or are in need of cross-cultural psychology. I always strive to expand my knowledge of how my sessions can be a more inclusive and understanding space for people of all backgrounds.
Outside the office, I find meaning in life through my personal relationships, enjoying outdoor recreation, creating art, and maintaining balance. I can often be found out in nature, scavenging for a delicious bowl of pho, or sharing a laugh with friends.
